What is the Marketplace Feature?
The marketplace is a dedicated section within your property where residents can:
- Sell new or used items to neighbors
- Browse items available from other residents
- Show interest in listings by clicking the heart icon
- Connect directly with sellers via email
This feature strengthens community bonds while providing a convenient platform for local transactions.
Who Can Create Marketplace Listings?
Marketplace listings can be created by:
- Residents: Directly listing their items for sale
- Property Managers: Creating listings on behalf of residents who need assistance
This dual-creation capability ensures all residents can participate, regardless of technical comfort level.
Step 1: Navigate to the Marketplace
From your dashboard, navigate to the Properties section and select the property where you want to create a marketplace listing. Once in the property view, click on the “Marketplace” tab.
Step 2: Create Your First Listing
If no listings exist yet, you’ll see an option to create your first marketplace listing. Click the “Add First Listing” button to begin.
A new page will open with the marketplace listing creation form.
Step 3: Fill in Listing Details
Complete the following information to create an attractive, informative listing:
Item Title: Create a clear, descriptive title that immediately tells potential buyers what you’re selling (e.g., “Queen Size Bed Frame – Excellent Condition”)
Description: Provide comprehensive details about your item:
- Item condition and age
- Original purchase price (if applicable)
- Reason for selling
- Dimensions and specifications
- Any defects or wear
- Special features or benefits
Price and Currency:
- Set your asking price
- Select the currency (USD, EUR, etc.)
- Consider if the price is negotiable
Condition: Select the item’s condition:
- New (never used, in original packaging)
- Like New (minimal use, excellent condition)
- Good (used but well-maintained)
- Fair (used with visible wear)
- For Parts (not fully functional)
Category: Choose the appropriate category:
- Furniture
- Electronics
- Appliances
- Home Decor

Status: Set the listing status:
- Available
- Pending
- Sold
- Removed
Unit Location: Enter the unit number where the item is located for easy pickup coordination.
Images: Upload high-quality photos showing:

- Item in context (if helpful)
Step 4: Submit Your Listing
Once all information is complete, click the “Create Listing” button. Your marketplace listing will be successfully published and visible to all residents in the property.
Managing Marketplace Listings
Viewing Listing Details
Click directly on any marketplace listing card to view complete information and access management options. This detailed view shows:
Complete Item Information: All listing details you entered
Interested Users: See residents who clicked the heart icon to show interest in your item. You’ll see:
- User names
- Email addresses for direct communication
This feature makes it easy to coordinate sales and communicate with potential buyers.
Update to Sold: Once your item is purchased, you can update the listing status to “sold” directly from this view.
Editing Listings
Click the three-dot menu icon next to any listing to access editing options:
- Select “Edit Feed”
- Update any information (price, description, status, images)
- Save your changes
Edit listings to:
- Adjust pricing
- Add more photos
- Update availability
- Clarify descriptions
- Correct information
Deleting Listings
When an item is sold or you no longer want to list it:
- Click the three-dot menu icon
- Select “Delete Feed”
- Confirm the deletion
The listing will be immediately removed from the marketplace.
